Graduating from ASU

A Grateful Step Forward: MFA Complete

In May 2025, I graduated with my Master of Fine Arts in Dance from Arizona State University—a milestone that marks not just the culmination of years of focused study, but the beginning of a lifelong commitment to growth in both dance and education. This program challenged me to deepen my artistry, expand my teaching philosophy, and explore how dance can foster connection, inquiry, and transformation. I am incredibly grateful for the mentorship, the movement, and the many moments of discovery that shaped my time at ASU.

As I reflect on this chapter, I am filled with a sense of purpose and curiosity for what comes next. The experiences and knowledge I’ve gained have not only prepared me to share what I know but have also instilled in me a lasting love for learning. Whether I am in the studio, the classroom, or collaborating across disciplines, I move forward with the confidence that I can keep evolving—as an artist, as an educator, and as a human. Thank you to everyone who has walked this path with me. I look forward to dancing into the future with open arms and an open mind.

Starting in Fall 2025, I’m thrilled to join the dance faculty at Brigham Young University–Idaho, where I will have the opportunity to teach and mentor the next generation of dancers in a university setting. In addition, I’ll be teaching at Extreme Ballroom Dance Company in Idaho Falls, a nationally recognized studio known for excellence in performative and competitive ballroom dancing. I am excited to be part of such vibrant and passionate communities, and I look forward to continuing to grow, share, and celebrate dance in all its forms.
